Ladybug is my second daughter who is almost 10 weeks old. She came in this crazy family March 2010.
So far is has doubled her birth weight and is above average on height according to the charts the doctor uses. Another tall girl on my hands. I'm hoping they will be either be professional basketball players or models... Either one makes good money and they could buy a huge house and mama will move in with them, haha....
Anyway, I'm still figuring out Ladybug - still kinda new. But I know her favorite past times include sucking on mamas boob, spitting up, farting contests with daddy, giggling at mommy while I talk like I'm an idiot and smush my face up like a Sharpi dog, she also enjoys watching cartoons with her big sister. And she is captivating smile, you know the one where all you see is tongue and gums; love it.
Her talents include the longest passing of gas known in our family for an infant, monstrous diaper explosions, and spitting up on mommy more than her sister ever did, somehow wiggling from my shoulder to hip area in 3 seconds, and she can do the wobbly head dance like no other...
So far she is pretty good sleeper... She does wake up to eat but its usually only once at night which is amazing!!!
I cant really tell if she going to be like her sister of if they are going to be totally opposites...
Only time can tell...

A Little about my girl - Monkey
Monkey as I have so gracefully nicknamed her, is my oldest daughter. She will be 3 years old May 2010. Last time we had her at the doctor she stood 41 inches tall and weighed 38.1 pounds; she isn't even 3 and wears 4T-5T. She's just tall like her mama.
Monkey definitely knows how to milk the grandparents for anything; cash, toys, candy, you name it she pretty much gets her way at there house when I'm not there. So when she comes home she is just pissed at me most of the time because here she is told "no" from time to time... And on top of that I make her nap, or at least lay down and rest for bit because if she doesn't she will serious loose her mind!
Her favorite foods are
What is she scared of? The dark and thunder... Every time it rains she totally freaks out...
Bed time is fun around this house we finally got her "big girl" bed up and her room all pretty and its a space just for her but does she want to sleep in there, noooo....
I know its a scary transition so as of now she falls asleep either in my bed or on the couch and then is lifted off to her bed. Drives me crazy but its better than a melt down every night.
Here is the part that is hard for me admit too. She is just like me as a child; stubborn, bull-headed and sassy as she can be. So when my mama said I was gonna get pay back when I had kids she was right... Its like a mini me, and heck I know how i was and still am so parenting isn't gonna be easy for me anytime soon.
In the end, I love her to death. Just last night as she was falling asleep on the couch and her sister was sleeping, I just sat down beside her and stroked her curly hair. I just stared at her - she was so peaceful, so beautiful, it was a simple elegance that took my breath away. It was one of those moments that you know will stay in your memory even when your 85 years old. There are days when I seriously wonder how can I do this for at least 42 more years (lets get real you're never really done being a mommy until your in the ground), but moments like that just help remind me of how precious and truly wonderful she is, screaming, crying, hitting me, or kicking me. She is still truly a blessing to my life.

- Pizza (with ranch most of the time)

Stressful Sunday Anyone?
Well today was just not my day at all. I did get to sleep about 6 hours (not straight through of course) thanks to Ladybug, Monkey was at my MILs house. But anyway I wake up and start making muffins because my hubs put in the request the night before. Well I'm mixing away while Ladybug is her bassinet in the kitchen with me....
Does my hubs offer to watch her for me? No.
Does he offer to help in anyway at all? Nope.....
He just comes in the kitchen makes is protein shake and goes back to the couch to watch T.V. I'm like are you serious... Seriously?
So I go tell him "thanks for all the help hun...." and he responded "I didn't know you needed any".
Ok yes I am a woman but this a super in front of that, no there is not. I mean in all honesty he is a bit self-center at times, and totally clueless to what I need from him; which is hard enough to deal with. Yes he works hard and I appreciate that but mentally and emotionally it still seems like he puts himself first and then everything else follows. If only men came with a tell all tag...
But I do love him just cant stand him sometimes time...
So my morning sucked.
My evening, not so hot either... I met my MIL to get Monkey and turns out Maw Maw didn't let, or make her nap... Yea awesome, now I have a grumpy almost 3 year old little girl on my hands.... We headed to my moms house for Sunday dinner and a movie which is not what I was hoping it would be. Fun, relaxing, enjoyable no not at all...It was full of time-outs, and "stop that"s.... On top of that Ladybug had a colic fit or something, all she did there was cry cry cry... A total disaster. I guess my mom could see that I had a bad morning so she was ok with me staying and she helped with the girls... along with my dad. They love anytime with they get to spend with their granddaughter, acting up or not...
So I am home now, Monkey came in the door and she was ready for bed because we didn't home from my moms house until right before 11pm and I got her ready for bed and she sacked out.. Now as for Ladybug, she feel asleep in the car on the way here and stayed asleep while I got monkey ready for bed. But that was it she is back to crying and screaming, and me wondering what to do and hoping that Monkey stays asleep. Luckily somehow she is now back to sleep and I am finally getting to type with two hands!
Wow what a Sunday and its past midnight now and not even Sunday anymore lol....

Well hello and here I am
As you have probably noticed I am a blonde and my name is Bershelle (like ber~shell; odd... I know, I know...), and I am a rather simple woman. I was born on April 11th 1990, I live in the same small town in Virginia that I was born in; I have never moved and probably never will. Here you are surrounded by beautful mountains, cows out number the people, the high school football game is the weeks highlight, we dress up our dogs on occasion, and we all know one another. I love my little town but trust me it does have some downers; like not shopping (we drive at least 40 minutes to the nearest mall) and only so many restuarants.
I have been married since July of 2009, my husband works in the coal mines of West Virginia and he enjoys the adventure I do believe. As of right now I am a stay-at-home and work-at-home mama!!! I have a wonderful crazy little girl who is 3 and another giggly little girl who is 9 weeks old... I had my oldest when I was 17 and yes i did graduate high school but after many failed attemps I learned from college that well, college was not for me...
I love my girls and I just want to stay home with them. I may be a young however I am not so dumb, I know how precious my girls are. I enjoy everyday, all the "NO"s and "DON'T"s, that is just what it takes to help them learn, I would not change a thing about my life as it is today. I am truely a blessed woman; I have 2 healthy girls, and a wonderful husband who does his best to put up with me. What more can a girl ask for?
